Collaboration [LINK](Journal)

[2021]

For the first issue of LINK Journal ‘States of Matter’ I explored different methods of printing as part of the “Hyperglobal / Hyperlocal” MakersXchange. I experimented with the format of the book using different printing tools and machines methods, consequently I also explored the fixed media of sequentially bound pages, the consequences of printing your own book for content and design and the impact of the method of (non)printing.

The collaboration was concluded by a full-on scan and rizocopy frenzy for the cover of ‘States of Matter.’ The covers are created by distorting the printed digital originals with the scanner and accumulating them on top of each other with the Risocopier. In so doing creating a broad range of variations and adaptations, very much a fluid publication.
